Last night, Meg and I made Kevin a cake and baked it in a bunt pan. After dinner, it was Devin’s job to put away the rest of the cake. He asked me if I wanted him to wrap it and I told him yes. Well, dummy took the rest of the cake and wrapped it entirely in foil instead of just wrapping the whole cake with the plate in plastic wrap, you know, lightly…no, instead, he tightly wrapped JUST the cake in FOIL. What a mess that was today in my HOT kitchen.
That doesn’t beat putting the cutting board in the oven!!! But omg why do teenagers not think?
I call things like that “learning experiences”. I remember someone putting Crisco on top of a cake one time!!!! love MOM
