My basket overfloweth

Since this was my true first day home with the kids since Kevin was off yesterday, I took off today and left “the boy” in charge for the afternoon and kidnapped his dad, went to lunch, then shopping.

  We also got my id card “fixed” as the lamination was coming apart so badly I thought they’d confiscate it soon.  It got to the point where it was almost a game of “will they say something about it this time” every time we went through the gate.  We took it to our most NOT favorite place (Ramstein) only to find out that the “waiting time” to be seen was ……. 2 hours. ( WTF?)  We signed in, then Kevin waited around by the front desk to see if anyone would want to “help” him, because you know “his” time is important hehe  Well, they did and he asked if they’d just try and relaminate it for me, you know, so we wouldn’t have to wait 2 friggen hours… yay…it could be done, they did it and we were on our way. 

 We figured since he saved us that hour and 45 minutes, we’d go to “starfakes” and get not only a coffee  (yep, Iced Caramel Macchiato) we’d spit a piece of cheesecake too…the Boston creme pie one.  OMG yummy yummy yummy…it was almost as sinful as sneaking off to get a quickie during the day…almost   It really put us over the edge as we had Thai food for lunch, just us…(literally…there was no one else in there)

Then, I went to the library because they had my requested book in, Wild Orchids, and I got another two out while I was at it…why not huh?  I read a lot more during the summer and have made it a goal to work my way through my jude-deveraux-book-list. 

Oh, checked the mail too, and although there were no craft items, my new Bare Minerals came today Yippee!!  Now, I can be pretty lol

Then, it was off shopping for a while, time to fill my basket:

Looks like Morgan likes it when I go shopping….yep, there were kinder eggs in the basket too.  Ooh Ooh, is that beer too ???    Why, YES, it is
