Who killed flylady??

Well, the maid’s gone missing again and I think before she ran off she whacked the flylady with a swatter because my freakin’ house is in Chaos!  Seriously…it’s just exploded (or so it seems) these past two weeks.  I think perhaps today we’ll make a concentrated effort to clean the house, but of course that will be after we drive out to check the mail and put half a million dollars worth of gas in the Momster. 

Got a package from Heather this week, we cheap asses ordered some emtpy DVD cases together so we didnt’ have to pay two shipping charges… (and I’ve found some more cheap friends too as I am waiting for two packages to come from QVC, one with Bazzil cardstock and one with Basic Grey papers….$200 worth and it’s NOT all mine lol )  So, anyway, Heather got them & sent them off to me from Japan with some fun snacky things and yesterday I put a box in the mail to her with her stampin stuff and some fun German snacky stuff   Hope she likes the assortment I found her hehe.  The girls and I ate “our” snacks in the car while waiting for Devin to get his hair cut the other day, and I especially enjoyed what I can only describe as a “chocolate covered packing peanut log” lol  Awesome!

Morgan woke up grumpy today, as usual, and is not NOT talking to any of us because Maegan ate the last of the Captain Crunch cereal, and she’s mad a ME because there are no Lucky Charms.  Should be fun trying to get her to pick up her stuff today huh?  Man that kid can be a grouch, but that’s one of the things we love about her so much…

It’s not fun writing about this because I had the perfect thing written before about Idol and the damn blog didnt’ save it…BUT David Cook is just IT!  This past week was definately a “jumpin off the couch yelling Yah Baby!” kind of night…  I was meeved that David Johns left last week, and although I know he wouldn’t have won the thing, it wasn’t his time….and thank God Christy Lee Cook finally got the boot huh?   I think one of the three guys are going to win this thing, and as much as I want DC to win it, I am afraid it’s going to be that singing toddler or the dude with the smelly dirty hair.  I am sure 90% of the people calling in to vote are between the ages of 12 and 23 and female, and not old ladies like me who know good singing when I hear it hehe  Granted, the other two can sing, don’t get me wrong, but I think it will be a popularity vote and cuteness factor, something that appeals to that age catagory.  Who knew guys could sing Mariah Carey…

Lemme tell you though, with Andrew Loyd Weber stuff this next week, those two I think will do really really well, especially David A…. 

I rented some appropriate stamping room movies to watch over the weekend….Bridget Jones’s Diary, BJD the Edge of Reason, and Pride and Prejudice lol  (You know, stuff that if he were here, would drive Kevin out of the inky zone LOL)  Did you ever notice how many times the “F word” is uttered in BJD?  Holy crap!

Anyway, it’s almost noon so I’d better go see if Devin of the Dead is out of bed yet, if the grump has changed her ‘tude and get us all dressed so we can get out a bit today….Hope your day is a good one!
