Just a couple of things going on lately to catch you all up. It’s a mix of good and bad news, like a never ending up and down cycle in everyday life.
I just passed a Blogiversary last week and didn’t even realize it. I’ve been putting my crap out there in cyberspace now since March ‘06 with the famed first bed head pic taken by camera phone.
Our Anniversary is this week, Air Force Man and I will be celebrating 15 years of wedded “bliss” on the 10th, albeit apart, as he is going home to see his father. We got news last week that Doug has liver cancer, please pray for his good health. Also, on the same day, I found out that my 20 yo cousin died unexpectantly at home. Please pray for my Aunt Gail, her husband Doug and extended family as they work through their loss. Like I said before…time is a thief…….
Jordan turned 5 on Saturday, she’s still such a little turd. I can hardly believe I will be sending her off to school in the fall. Oddly enough, she picked out the same exact cake she’s had before, but that’s ok because it’s what she wanted. It was chocolate and vanilla and very yummy. She wanted Pixel Chix for her birthday and Pokemon cards, so we took her shopping and got her exactly that.
And lastly….we woke up to snow today. Would post a pic of that too, but it looks exactly like the last snow pic I posted so I figured I’d skip it.
Like I said, our lives have had many ups and downs lately and we are just along for the ride called “life”.
It’s spring break this week….the kids will be in my hair ALL week long ….happy happy joy joy…
Congrats on 15yrs! I hope there have been many more blessings and thrills than struggles and saddness. Hugs to you on your loss and will keep Doug in my prayers
