I woke up this morning to no heat and no hot water. I knew the bedroom was cold last night when I went to bed, so I “thought” I turned up the register. (it was dark, hubby was asleep and didn’t want to wake him)
5 am and I wake up. My bedroom is cold. I get out of bed, feel the register and think “dummy, you turned it all the way down”. So then, since I hear hubby stirring, I warn him the light is coming on so I can fix register…..It was almost turned all the way up. Dammit, what’s up with that right?
Well, my body is telling me, “time to wake up go pee” so I head to the bathroom. Cold hallway, cold bathroom….I turn on the water “just to see” and it’s cold. Now mind you, the house is cold…the boy gets up at 530 to shower and there is no hot water. That’s gonna suck.
Thinking the man of the house will get up and check on it, I go back to bed. He doesn’t get up. I start getting mad because he’s not moving his butt to go check on it. I can not go back to sleep. So I get up. It’s 5:15 am. I NEVER get up at 5 am, ever. (ok, so it has happened a few times, but come on….)
I take my sleepy, grumpy self down to the basement, turning every light on on the way.(you know, just to make a point since “someone” thinks it’s fine to stay in bed)
Now, I don’t know why, but the furnace had been turned off. I turn it on, therefore fixing the water so the boy can shower when he gets up.
I then go make coffee and settle in on the couch for the next half our till the kids get up and I watch tv. In saunters man of the house, sits down next to me on the couch and thinks it’s time for some idle chit chat.
It’s 530 am and he wants to ask me questions about the Young and the Restless while I’m watching it and I’ve not seen it in like 3 months. I just don’t watch it. I felt like telling him to shut up and let me watch tv. I decided to just give him one answer for every question. I don’t know. Is Jack Abbot talking to his dead dad? (I don’t know) Is that Nicki? (I don’t know) Is she still married to Victor?
I DO NOT FREAKING KNOW, I HAVE NOT WATCHED IT FOR 3 MONTHS.
IT’S 530 AM.
STFU.
I’m not really a morning person, can you tell?? hehe
