It’s Sunday and no one is doing laundry today! Yipee!!
Kevin did all of his yesterday, Devin stripped his bed and washed it, plus he ended up washing the “clothes he was keeping in his room till laundry day” that overflowed my previously empty hamper lol.
I wrote about the overstuffed envelopes of coupons my friend gave me the other day right? Well, today I had some shopping fun
With the weekly groceries already bought, I sat down with the coupons and looked for those thing we buy a lot of and run out of. For my family, it’s cereal, deodorant, body wash, shampoo, hand soap, Excedrin tension headache stuff, microwave popcorn, toothpaste…you know..stuff like that.
I then headed to the V’wegh commissary to do a “little” bit of shopping for just those things. You will NOT believe how much money I saved! OMG! Are you ready?
I bought 39 items. I used 28 coupons. I saved….$32.00!!!! That’s a savings of 39%! Holy freakin’ cow huh? I paid a crazy .29 for toothpaste… .68 for the excedrin…the list goes on and on! The MOST I paid for cereal was $1.09 lol Then for those 39 items, and the 39% savings…bagger number 39 was nice enough to bag them all up for me lol. (and I will add, that he bagged them into my “green” earth- friendly reusable commissary bags too!)
Wow, wow wow!! I think I should play the lottery lol
Oh, for Sabrina, (Heather’s new German friend in Japan….) I drink both Dallmayr and Jacobs coffee brands, but my real favorite, believe it or not, is the “TIP” brand (generic!) from REAL! lol
Last but not least……I guess the number 39 isn’t so scary after all *wink* (Yes, this week…I turn 39….holy shit!)
And now, off for a walk with the hubby and kids (my back was out yesterday and that sucked!) as it’s 58 degrees today…neener neener neener!
(omg, did I hear right….JPV is pregnant?)
No wonder she’s been so sick, still no excuse for her not to blog hahahaha
And what is your excuse Tanya????
I want YOUR coupons Susan.
OMG_Bite your tongue!
