One of the charming things about our little town was the cows we would see as we drove into our village. They were these cool looking beige cows with long hair on their heads. Imagine a cow with bangs…bangs that needed a good trim. Those were “our” cows.
Anyway, when it got cold, the cows disappeared. The horses that hung out with them stayed and we see them occasionally but the cows…well, they’re gone. I wonder if they got eaten? I can’t image that they have been in the barn all this winter, although the barn could be big enough to keep them. I dunno.
On the days I venture out, as I turn into my town, I always say to myself…what happened to the cows? I’m not kidding, if they don’t come back, or bring in a suitable replacement, I’m going to have to move. I liked those cows. Börrstadt is definately a differnent place without the cows. lol
Hamburger anyone? Mooooooooooooooooo
I always wonder why the buffaloes stay outside when it’s cold here. Ya, you know the ones off airport road… I mean they usually go inside on days like today when its -29 with the windchill. But still you see them outside on other days when its freezing and they are out there just laying around. Crazy beasts!
Seth always wants me to drive the buffalo way into town.
Look at you, Susan! Missing cows! What a country girl
