My friend Heather and I, were cut from the same mold, I swear. Anyone who knows us both will attest to that too. While there are “slight” differences in the two of us, she is, I think, the closet you’d get if I could be cloned…and vise versa lol
Why?
I didn’t pack my damn crockpot either, and I kid you not, I don’t think she knew this. I didn’t pack either of my crockpots, because, like all other kitchen obscessed women, I have 2 of them. (and a kitchen full of Pampered Chef….)
Now, the variation is, I didn’t forget, but none-the-less, I still find myself without a crockpot. I left mine in storage on purpose, because I didn’t want to run it through a transformer, yet now, I don’t want to shell out the money for a new one. I kick myself every time I see a recipe I want to make and realize, damn, I don’t have a crockpot. Maybe today, when I go out to buy my CASE of wine (the good red stuff…) I will go to the BX and get a damn crockpot. It’s been 6 months, I need a crockpot don’t ya think?
I, too, have two crockpots. One in Michigan at the “other” house and one in storage in North Dakota. Ya know, our storage stuff is probably sitting right next to each other

-Umm…I made a major order in December (Merry Christmas to me!) to re-establish my Pampered Chef kitchen! Can you say $800? Got to love re-imbursement insurance through USAA!
I have two crockpots as well! I do have to admit before I left the Forks I had three. Had to sell that one, couldn’t see moving three of them!
Oh yeah, remember that rolling pin you borrowed way back when I didn’t even know you? I need a new one. My MIL made fun of how ridiculous it is! Now I have an excuse to go find me a decent one!
