This is so totally deserving of it’s own post, believe me, it is.
So, on Heather’s blog, she passed along a pic and link for my FAV wine, so now, I thought it’s only fair I pass along this lol
She shared a website long ago with me, recipezaar, because like me, she loves to cook. She also enjoys taking pictures of her food she makes, a trait (weirdness) that I thought only I had. ( See what I mean? 2 peas….) Anyway, I mentioned a cheesecake the other day that I made for my husband. For some reason, this has become our “thing”. (Well, at least a “thing” I can share on the web… *wink*)
So, without further adiu….I bring you….The best damn cheesecake ever. It’s a combination of two very high rated Zaar recipes.

Mmmmm, yummy good huh? Well, wait till you see it OUT of the pan lol. I call this next pic “Crust Perfection”
Now, what goes into this wonderful thing you are asking? Beware, after baking this, Weight Watchers officially has a warrant out for my arrest !! hehe
“The Best Damn Cheesecake Ever”
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Crust:
2 1/2 cups crust graham crackers
1/3 c melted butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
Cheesecake filling:
3 pkgs cream cheese
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 c sour cream
1 cup sugar
3/4 c mini chocolate chips
Mixing, baking and all that stuff:
Crust: Since you are being brave and attempting this in the first place, I assume you know how to make a crust. So do it. Now.
Filling:
Beat cream cheese until smooth.
Add sugar and sour cream.
Beat until well blended. (you should taste this part…yum….)
Add eggs and vanilla.
Beat again until well blended.
Seperate Choc chips, setting aside 1/4 c and stirring 1/2 cup into cheesecake
Pour cheesecake into filling and make it look pretty, smoothing the top nicely, I like a gentle swirl pattern
Top cheescake with reserved choc. chips.
Bake @ 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
Then turn your oven off and let the cheesecake SIT in your oven for 1 hour.
Take cheesecake out, let finish cooling, the refridgerate overnite. (no, not kidding you will have to wait till the next day to eat it, sorry!)

Okay, did you do the WW math….. Just curious how many minutes we have to walk (or run) to justify half the cheesecake. BTW can you send a slice MPS?
“generic” baked cheesecake is 10 or 12 points for 16th of the pie.
MPS….hmmmmm…..I dunno. *snort*
Cheescake….do you deliver?
