I’m searching for a recipe…I ate some green jello fluffy stuff yesterday at a luncheon and loved it! It was similiar to my moms recipe (I think) although it was more of a crossbreeding of the “gelled green jello salad” and “fluffy green stuff”. It definately did NOT contain rice , oranges, or cherries, but did have mini marshmallows,pineapple and what I can assume was cool whip and some form of chopped nuts.
Yes, I want to make it for Thanksgiving…
Anyway I think I’ve found something close but in the process found a great blog I’d love to share. Anyone who add that much butter to things is my hero lol She doesn’t feature green jello anything, but like I said about the butter….

The stuff you are speaking of is prbably Pistachio Salad My mother made it when we were kids. i’m sure you can find the recipe your self. hehe
It sounds like Watergate salad. very yummy. I’m sure I have a receipe in a dusty cookbook if you need.
