Saturday, “the boy” had a “dining in” for JROTC at the Rstein officers club. He really had a good time. It was great to hear him talk of what a good dinner he ate…club food hehe. Funny, how something so “everyday” to us now was so special to a 14 year old.
Interesting too, was hearing him talk of the grog bowl, which for the “kids” was really cool. Ahhh, nothing like a mixture of club soda, sparkling cider, cranberry juice, gummie bears, cocoa packets with marshmallows, steak sauce and god knows what else being drank from a toilet bowl. “Thank god” he said “that I didn’t have to drink it, I would have barfed” hehe
Anyway, in true MOM fashion, I got pics of him before hand…and he looks so happy about it hehe
“Dad” making sure he looks right:
“Dammit mom, why do you always take pictures of me?”
“Alright, take the picture…don’t take my 360 away” **note** that 360 is such a GOOD bargaining chip for anything
