****Here’s my big post, apparently blogger doesn’t like what I have to say and won’t let me fix my font. This is the best I can do folks, sorry!!****
My very precious (yah, right) 3 year old
came in crying those very words about a half hour ago.
Poor thing. Apparently, while he was hanging shoplights in the garage, she thought it was time to whine and cry at him…and he got grumpy at her. “God, everytime I try to just do some shit and get stuff done, someone needs to need something or cry……” silly silly man….
WELCOME TO MY WORLD!!!!!!
Geesh, those kids should know by now that daddy needs complete peace and quiet, uninterrupted time to do stuff. They should know better. HA (good going kids, make sure daddy gets equal treatment….hey, want a cookie???)
So, you’re probably wondering what’s been going on around here lately. Well, right this minute my timer is beeping for my cookies and we have 6 kids in the back yard. All girls. Can you just imagine the NOISE???
Yum, cookies!!! These are freakin awesome!! No wonder I’m so stinking fat! hahahaaaaa
The Efam mega nofamilyneedsaswingsetthatbig playland is now open. I actually put on my flip flops and contributed 3 or 4 minutes of my time to the project. I helped stand up the frame of it. Kevin and his buddy DJ stood up the tower, and my friends and I clapped. They did such a good job lol!!
Dammit, beeper again…stinkin cookies!!
Ok, I’m back for another 12 minutes till the next batch is done.
Here’s what I’ve been up to on my 4 day hiatus:
Yesterday: dinner with some new aquantainces, ate my first fried turkey. All I could think about was that spot they had on tv about the dangers of turkey fryers. Hell, who cares about your house potentially burning down when your big bird turns out THAT good!! Yah, that’ll KEEP me fat!!
Snuck into town without kids, Kevin and I, before we went to our friends. He went to Lowes, I went to Michaels with my 2 50% off coupons that I got in this weeks paper. Guess who spent more time and money….HE did. What did I buy you ask? Well, one coupon bought me a roll of the really wide Sticky Tape so I can make beaded pens, which I did today and they are soooo coool!!! Anyway, the other one I used for a new “slab”. This one had really girly colors like “slab 6″ but also had die cut tags, alphabet stickers and cardstock!! Very cool.
Sunday: heck, don’t remember exactly what I did. I know part of the day was spent sitting outside enjoying my back yard and visiting with my neighbors Dawn and DJ. They recently made another out of state trip, and I kept their daughter for the week. “C” is such a lovely girl. Smart too….although she did just ask her mom how to bake and icecream cake. Ummm, oookkk…
They always bring me something cute to say “thank you” for letting her stay here. This time, it was a pink cowboy hat with lots of bling on the rim and a tiara on the front. One can NEVER have too many tiaras ya know!! Kevin has explicitly warned me NOT to wear that to any of his squadron functions. He is NO fun. No fun!!

Oh yah! I went to “Z”’s PC party. It was fun. “Z” needs to unpack a little bit more. “Z” did not feed us BK chicken tenders. We love “Z”. Alot.
Saturday: my house was invaded by stampers. We made those awesomely cool lunchbox tins. (and no I don’t care if awesomely is a word or not so don’t email me and tell me….) Armed with all of the same supplies, the ladies really showed all of their individual creativity. I will do these again, they are soooo much fun to make!! (I’m thinking that slab will make a TON of them don’tcha think?)
Just slipped away to take care of another tray of cookies. Yep, they taste good. Behind my back my two daughters were having a conversation about the “helpers” that are in their respective “VBS” classrooms. (yes, I sent them, we are not TOTAL godless heathens) Anyway, my 5 yo daughter said that her helpers were “the girl that has 2 pony tails and the boy with the haircut like dads”. Cute.
Won my son a Spiderman gamecube game on e-bay today… all in all it was $8.25. Good deal huh? He found it, and we sat and refreshed the screen a billion times to make sure we won. haha, gotta love ebay. (Wish I had invented it. Darn.)
I bought him that shirt. I secretly love South Park. (and NO he is not allowed to watch it, thanks for asking) I bought him another shirt the same day that said “I’m the kid your parents always warned you about”. I think that’s funny because he’s the kid you want your kid to hang out with because normally, he’s a good influence. Yah, he’s screwed up a few times, but what kid hasn’t and I can almost guarentee that in those instances, he wouldn’t have done what he did if it weren’t for those other kids. Nuff said.

We are watching for his report card to come in the mail. We get email from the school that tells us his grades, and last one we got (Sunday night) said he had ALL A’s. He came home Thursday with a ginormous canister of cheeseballs he won in a drawing from school. Miraculously, he hasn’t eaten the whole thing yet. I think he’s too tired from his Mt. Rushmore trip with the DEFY program still.
Somewhere in there I watched “The Ringer”. We rented it a couple of days ago and realized like at 9 one night that it had been due that day by noon. OOOPS!! It definately wasn’t worth keeping that’s for sure. Johnny Noxville is much funnier when he acts like his real stupid self, instead of trying to pretend he’s retarded.
Did I tell you that we gave the cat a bath. Well, I gave the cat a bath. Kevin just grabbed the 400 pound soaking wet smelly beast as he bolted out of the tub. That damn cat smelled like butt. Nasty butt at that. He smells pretty now.
I’m going back to TOPS tomorrow, as I am almost certain that I have gained about 10 pounds in the last two weeks. (and NO I’m NOT surprised if I did since I do eat like a TRASH HOUND!!) Oh well….
Oh before I forget….the yard…. Kevin found a couple bottles of that “skeeter be gone” stuff in the garage that he bought last year…sprayed the yard and boom!! We can play outside and not get carried off by harrier jump jet sized insects!! (well at least for a couple of days) Guess my lemon experiment will have to wait.
